Yann Arthus-Bertrand said in one of his interviews, that the most emotionally captivating photo for him was a shot of our planet, taken from space. “When one looks at our planet from space, he/she understands that everything is interconnected in our world. We are all brothers and sisters, regardless of which continent and city we are living in. Earth is our home, and we should take care of it”. Open wounds on the surface of our planet due to industrial production, wars, and environmental disasters show us the real ecological state our planet is in. The film “HOME’s” main mission is to show our planets beauty, because it is our common home and to stress the importance of taking care of nature. The film’s objective is to create a new perception – one that shows how everything in the world is interconnected, and also, the film is a calling for the necessity of preserving nature and life on planet Earth. ‘HOME’ invites us to take a moment of our time and take a look at our planet more carefully, so that we may realize how to better care for its beauty and manage its resources.
